Summary.
Kilimanjaro Centre for Community Ophthalmology (KCCO) wanted an overhaul of their site structure was well as a redesign of their overall site. The task was to go through all the information in the old site and group them to best achieve the goals of having information chunked to best serve their two main audiences: 1) Creating interest among individuals wanting more information and 2) Stakeholders/trustees who would visit the site for annual reports.
Considering all the user needs upfront, the content from the original site was sifted and then reordered to speak directly to the specified audiences. Once a clear sitemap and information architecture was established, an eye catching and clean design approach was employed to best compliment the research as well as employing clear call to actions to drive donations.
